Sydney International Shooting Centre receives world-class upgrades

December 2017

The Sydney International Shooting Centre will be the first range in the world to receive the new LS25/50 laser technology installed.

The Office of Sport secured the $2.4 million dollar targetry upgrade in order to make this the premier shooting centre in the Asia Pacific region, and ensure compliance with the ISSF requirement for decimal place scoring.

This new technology will be used in the Tokyo Olympics, and it is a newer system than what was installed for the upcoming Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

Upgrades are due to be complete in March, and a temporary staged closure of the ranges will be required.
